"If life gives you limes, make margaritas.” - Jimmy Buffett

Yesterday was a day of celebration for me.  Something I've been waiting for a long time finally came to fruition.  Don't get your hopes up-- it isn't what you're thinking. It really doesn't have anything to do with me at all.  It has to do with another person. A person I don't care for at all.  Did I ever tell you I'm a spiteful, vengeful person?  Oh, I did?  Good, then you're caught up.

So as part of my day of celebration, I was determined to make a margarita when I got home. It had been a long day....a happy day...but long.  I only had a little bit of Skinny Girl Margarita left from buying it a month ago (not really a big fan of margarita's, I guess).  I got out my trusty blender (which I've only used once in 8 years), put the ice in, put the margarita mix in, put the lid on and started to crush ice.  Only, something caught my eye.

What is margarita mix doing on my counter? Why is it leaking from the bottom of the blender? WHY ISN'T THERE ANY LEFT IN THE BLENDER????

Damn it.

The bottom of the blender wasn't tightened.  How was I supposed to know that I needed to make sure that part was screwed on?  Shouldn't it just always be tight?

I wish I'd had a straw. I would have sucked up the margarita mix from my kitchen counter.  But I didn't. I think I got about an ounce of margarita, which was basically what the ice soaked up.

It was still delightful and I was still happy.

Love it. Oh and I have done similar but I would have been slurping it off the counter. We are too much alike sometimes.
