Do you ever get a song stuck in your head? And usually it's not a song you want repeating in your head over & over & over all day long, is it?
Every morning, as I'm showering, I sing "Free credit report.com". It's because the commercial is constantly on in the a.m. and so it gets stuck in my head and well, I have to sing something in the shower, so it might as well be that.
This afternoon, it was "What would you do-ooo-ooo for a Klondike bar?" Don't ask me how this happened...I don't even eat Klondike bars and I was actually eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup when it started.
And now, it's "White Man" by The Michael Gungor Band. Watch the video on YouTube at
What is that kid poking? A hamster? And then he rides it off into the sunset? Hilarious!! I'm trying to get our Worship Team to sing this at the church. Guaranteed to have a lasting effect with the congregation. If nothing else, they'll have the tune in their head the rest of the day.
So what songs tend to get stuck in your head?

This is strange, but there is something I sing in the shower each morning. It is a commercial, too. But do you think I can think of it now? Odd.
I will report back tomorrow.
It varies from day to day. It seems as if its hard for anything to stick there anymore. And something I'd never thought about was the other noise in my head. You do know that I hear these locusts in my ears constantly. You knew that didn't you. Well now you do and I don't know what they like to listen to. I try to give them and ecletic mix of music. It's taken me this long to determine that its mostly contemporary Xtian music. Whatever speaks to my heart at the moment.
Dad, I thought they were crickets in your ears? Have they migrated and the locusts have moved in? Too funny. And BTW, it took me about 10 seconds to figure out Xtian meant Christian. I'm such a dork.
