When you have done your best for a flower, and it fails, you have some reason to be aggrieved. ~Frank Swinnerton

I'm a fake plant kind of person.

Have you heard the saying for addicts? Get a plant. If you can take care of that, then you can get a pet. If you don't kill that, then you can have a relationship with a real person.
I'd never make it past "get a plant". If I listened to that credo, I'd never have gotten Chica or Elvis. And I'd certainly not be able to have a relationship. Oh, wait. I can't do that anyway. I'm sticking with the cats.
I have to apologize to my Aunt Bev who so nicely gave me a rose plant the last time I visited. Poor Bev. What she didn't know is that while I can take care of cats (because they pretty much take care of themselves, praise the Lord), I apprently cannot take care of greenery.

Here's the result:

This is the result when I try. It probably would have survived better had I ignored it. *sigh*. I'm so, so sorry, Bev.

I don't know what to say. I'm laughing so hard I can't get my breath.
