Dear Neighbors,
I realize that I've been home a lot this past week and so maybe that's why you're annoying me so much more than usual. It's clearly my fault.
Do you know the reason I moved here? Simple. Peace & Quiet. Lately, I'm beginning to wonder if I can ever get peace & quiet. Whatever happened to being nice? Whatever happened to being considerate? Whatever happened to being a good neighbor? This is not the norm anymore. The norm now is to live for yourself. To not consider another person's being. To live in oblivion, like you're the only one on this planet. There's no care for others.
Do you hear me slam a door? Do you hear me drop my toilet seat? Do you hear me bang my kitchen cupboards? Do you hear my t.v.? Do you hear my radio? Do you hear me stomping around?
No, no you don't. Unless you count the last two days. Because I have done all of those things, trying to make you understand how annoying your behavior is. I even yelled, "Dumbass" through my bathroom wall at you. Now, that felt pretty darn good. But, obviously, that has had no effect. If your own noise doesn't bother you, why would mine?
I don't believe you're rude and inconsiderate purposely. I believe you're completely clueless as to how loud you truly are. Let me tell you.
I live in my home with ear plugs. Ear. Plugs. To block out YOUR noise. Is that any way to live? No, no it isn't. I would buy out the three apartments surrounding me, if I could afford it. Or move to a more secluded area. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be in my future. You. You are in my future. It doesn't bode well for either one of us.
I can only hope & pray you move soon.
