I always take life with a grain of salt, plus a slice of lemon, and a shot of tequila.

I have too many random thoughts this morning to post them all on Facebook, so here ya go!
  • It's 23 degrees out this morning. While that's balmy compared to some of our other winter days, it's still dang cold.  Snow has been melting during the day and refreezing at night.  I saw 8 people running on at 6:45AM on my way to work.  Running.  In 23 degree temperatures, dark, slick conditions, with the possibility of falling and hitting their heads.  At first I thought they were all crazy.  Then I began admiring them.  That's dedication to running.  I still think they're nuts.
  • I purchased myself a PursetoGo purse organizer.  It arrived yesterday.  My Kathy Von Zeeland purse is now so ordered, I don't need a flashlight or to dig around inside to find what I need.  It's fabulous!  So happy I can sport my purple purse again.  And yes, my organizer is also purple. I don't think you can have enough purple in your life.
  • I arrived at work this morning to find two leaks. Snow is sitting on our roof, melting, getting under the shingles and into the building.  *sigh*.  I -love- my job.  I haven't walked through the rest of the building because I'm afraid of what I'll find.  I can practically guarantee there's water in our downstairs level.  I'm waiting for our custodian to arrive to discover that little joy.
  • I'm trying out a new hair salon today for a cut.  I'm tired of paying for work that's shabby.  Let's hope this one is better, and by better, I mean I don't have to trim it when I get home; the person listens to what I want; and the person isn't distracted by the phone or people walking by outside.  I'm not asking for too much.  Seriously.
  • Another purchase I made this week was the book, "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins. The last book in the Hunger Games trilogy.  I haven't started reading it, yet, because I'm in the middle of "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest", the last(?) book in Stieg Larsson's trilogy.  I just found out the DVD of the Swedish movie comes out today.  I have to finish the book before I see the movie, but I'm hopeful Thursday will be movie day at my household.  Good motivation to read.  If you haven't read "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", "The Girl Who Played w/ Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest", do it. Do it now.  AND rent the movies, because they are equally as good.  Who knew Swedes could put out a good movie?  My suggestion: go with the subtitles instead of the English voiceover.  Man, that was bad.
Those are all my thoughts for the day....I will have no more the rest of the day.
