No, not for Christmas. For Bitch-i-Ness.
You know, when I googled "season of bitchiness", I really thought I'd get some sort of explanation from Wikipedia. For example:
Season of Bitchiness: Time of year when people have nothing better to bitch about, so they bitch about stupid shit. OR Season of Bitchiness: Time of year when people's angst has built up to the point of eruption....like Mount Vesuvius....and they can't hold in their bitchiness any longer. Look out! She's exploding!
Do you ever notice waves of bitchiness? It ebbs & flows, just like the tide. I can go weeks, possibly even months, without hearing anything from anybody. Then WHAM! It's coming from all sides! It's a freaking tsunami!
This could potentially last weeks. Even months. It gets old. It gets tiring. It gets frustrating. It, at times, is comical. I love the woman who sits out in Fellowship Hall on Sunday morning, ranting & raving to her "friends" about whatever stupid thing she has stuck in her craw this time, but she's too afraid to actually speak to a knowledgable person about what she's pms-ing about this week.
My theme song, after experiencing the Season of Bitchiness for the past 5 years, is American Rejects, "Gives you Hell"....."when you see my face, hope it gives you hell, hope it gives you hell...." Every time I hear that song, I jam out and think of walking through Fellowship Hall, smiling, smiling, smiling, at all the bitchy people because I know it just chaps their hides. I'm such a spiteful person.
Since I've claimed this the Season of Bitchiness, don't you think there should be decorations, ornaments, presents, and songs to go along with it? I'm thinking devil's horns, Funge Face-masks, a big No PMS-ing sign going through it, green twinkly lights (for the envious bitches), and as for presents.....a big hedge of protection. No, that's not good enough. How about a suit of armor as a gift? Or a magic wand to make everybody be nice...or just disappear? Or a nice, spiky pair of high heels...to kick them in the crotch.
