"I enjoy wallpapering, it gives me a chance to brush up on the swear words I haven’t used in a while." -Maxine

Day 04: A picture of your night.

I've obviously been holding off on Day 04.  My night's aren't that exciting.  Not that this one even is, but at least it's more than a picture of me in pajama's, staring at the t.v.  I did almost take a picture of the t.v. last night. Deliverance was on. I don't think I've ever watched that movie in its entirety.  I did last night, after I got home from a Trustee's meeting.  I've had the song that will be forever associated with that movie stuck in my head all day long.  Super.

Anywhoo, here's my picture of tonight's night....much better than Deliverance...I guess.

I'm finally painting trim.  I know...it looks like I painted one big swatch in the middle of my dining room wall...that was my "sample" paint.  I think I went a little overboard, so guess what? I'm stuck with that paint. I can't take any more freaking painting. I've painted the wall of a bookshelf, all of the trim, all of the shelves, my chair rail, and a very large mirror. They all took between 3 & 5 coats of paint.  And the color choices?! Holy Moley- do there have to be so many?? This was a bigger project than I imagined, but I'll be so pleased when it's all done.

I've been staring at this wall for days.  It seems so huge. The trim will take forever. I've done one coat and my hand is already cramped and my wrist hurts.  I'm such a huge wimp and totally out of shape.

Here are more pics of my night...Can 5:00 be called "night"?  In my world it is...

This is me waking Elvis up from his 23 hour long nap.  Notice how pissed off he looks. I would be, too, if someone woke me from my nap.

And Chica....

She's stalking the squirrel who torments her all spring, summer, fall & winter.  The secretly love each other.

Ahhh, a glimpse into the night of me. Exciting, isn't it? Don't you wish you had my life?

You make me laugh and that's a good thing. What you do is fun and funny. And I love your cats. I can relate with Elvis. Don't wake me from a nap or you may incur my wrath. Keep going; your work looks good.
