I had a dream the other night. It didn't seem like a very good one and I think I'm correct in assuming it was bad.  My family and I were on vacation-- Mom, Dad, Chris, Ben and myself. Apparently we were vacationing in swamp land.  Who would go to a swamp on a family vacation?  It didn't seem like a swamp, more like a lake, but there were 2 crocodiles swimming about so I have to assume it was.  Chris & I were sitting at a picnic table about 2 feet from dry land...in the swamp.  If you know me at all, you know I would never do this in real life.  Water terrifies me.  Especially water infested with 2 crocodiles. 

Ben decided to jump in the water.  He was completely unafraid of the crocs.  The 2 crocs started swimming closer to Ben.  Mom jumped in to protect him and said, quite clearly, "They're more afraid of us than we are of them."  Of course they are, Mom.  So the 2 crocs bypassed Mom & Ben (lucky-ducks) and came directly toward me.  One of them bit my hand and wouldn't let go.  It must have been a runt-of-the-litter croc because I was able to swing my arm from side to side, trying to release the croc.  Chris just sat there, watching.  Me, flinging my arm, didn't work.  Finally Chris perked up and was able to help get the croc off my hand.  It had puncture marks but was otherwise o.k. 

I did a little research on the interpretation of this dream.  I was right.  It isn't great.

From sleeps.com: "If the Crocodile chases you it means success magnified in your affairs. If he catches and bites you then you are slated for disappointments in love and business."

So I'm going with the interpretation that I'm going to be disappointed in business.  I'm already resigned to being disappointed in love, so there's really no point in dreaming about that.  And what's with the colon reference?  Is that for real?  Yes, I am worried about my colon.  I just find it odd that my brain would associate that with a crocodile.  Really?  My brain's not that smart. 

Can I just say, my dream life is much more exciting than my real life.  I'm so grateful I get to live in crazy world every night and remember everything about it.
