I'm totally pilfering from other blog sites, but I hope I bring something original to this one.
Have you heard of the Christian side-hug? What about the Christian side-hug rap video? That's right. I said RAP. Check it out:
Put aside the fact that this looks like a bunch of white, suburban, Christian boys & girls trying to be "gangsta". Put that aside and focus on the "Gimme a Christian side-hug, Christian side-hug...Gimme a Christian side-hug". If that doesn't get stuck in your head, I don't know what will. I can't get it out! It's embedded in my brain.
This video has gone viral and sparked quite a few comments. Read the article in the Chicago Star Tribune about Stuff Christians Like and what Jon Acuff has to say about the side-hug.

I can't get over the fact that a Christian dude wrote a rap song about the Christian side-hug. How appropriate.
