"We don't realize how much of our lives are absolutely random." -Robert Shiller

These are my random thoughts of the day...

My bedroom is so absolutely freezing that most nights I simply fall asleep on the couch. But last night made me think twice. I woke up at Midnight for no reason and listened to squirrels chatter in my living room wall. It was more than a little creepy. It was a tad bit funny. But it was mostly irritating. I know how difficult it is to get squirrels to move out. Not easy. I'd sic the cats on them if I thought they would win. Unfortunately, they're wusses, so the squirrels would probably kill them.

I'm wearing no-skid socks today and I keep trying to slide across my kitchen floor. More than once, I've almost fallen. You would think I'd learn....but I don't.

My deep thought for today is this: Can a person have sin in one part of their life and continue to be good in another? The answer is no. Sin creeps from one part of a person's life into their entire life. Sin creeps. What else would sin do? Sin doesn't sit quietly and silently.

Is this weird? I'm planning my own Christmas-morning. Meaning, I'll be alone on Christmas morning so I've bought cinnamon rolls to bake and I have presents to open. I think it would be more weird to wake up and just have a "normal" day with nothing special. Yes, I'll probably read Luke & the story of Christ's birth. To the cats. Because I'm sure they've never heard it and it's about time I showed them the path to salvation. Especially Elvis, the heathen.

Does anybody else hate filling their humidifier? It's right up there with cooking....

What's your favorite holiday scent? I have quite a few and they're intermingling in my tiny apartment and giving me a headache. But I'm addicted to their scents. Right now, it's Hot Wassail. I don't know what wassail is. I could probably google it for you, but the smell is a blend or cinnamon & nutmeg and whew, it's strong.

Is there something about me that makes me unbelievable? Not in the good way, either. I mean, when I say something, why is it people don't believe me? If I say the sky is blue, why do people say it's green? Of course, my friend Jules would say, "your blue is my green", so what's the difference? That's too deep for me.

Those are my rambling, random thoughts for the day....Hope they made you smile & ponder!

Your blue COULD be my green. HAHAHA. We do not know that when we all see a candy can that we all see the same colors, come on now.

Get the squirrels to MOVE OUT. Disturbing!!!!

Love the random thoughts!

You just gave me a great idea, cinnamon rolls for Xmas day! Since we're alone too that sounds like a great idea! Love your thoughts. I'd go hunting the squirrels.
