"When snow would fall upon my bed/White sugar from Jesus" -George Michael, December Song

Again, I'm pilfering from another blog site....I saw this on "Jesus Needs New PR" at Matthew Paul Turner's blog.

George Michael has a new Christmas song coming out, called December Song. Poor George. Remember him from the 80's? Ahhhh, shake that booty, white boy. I loved George Michael. But, dang, this song just doesn't do it for me. What I find interesting is the video. Check it out here:

Does there have to be a hamster in every whacky video I see? What's that about?? Have hamster's become the "it" pet? When did that happen? I had a hamster when I was a child. I hugged it a little too hard, it bit me, and that was the end of the hamster. No, I didn't squeeze him to death, but biting me took the funness out of having him. So I sold him. And now the whacky things are showing up in music videos. Go figure.

What's your take on this video?

The song, not great. Although listening to it I get the point and all. The video is fairly creepy/surreal and therefore I like it a lot. The animation technique used always creeps me out a little and the visuals are out there. Love the little lightbulb guys though.
