I can't take a good picture to save my life. My face is crooked. My lips are almost gone from my face. The bags & wrinkles under the eyes are too prominent at only 34. And I have "turkey-wattle" under my chin. I hate seeing myself in pictures. That can't be what I really look like, though, can it? I mean, this must be what I look like in just pictures....not in real life, right? I look so much better when I don't know what I look like.
Is it just me, or are all women critical of how they look in photographs? There have only been a couple of times when I've thought, "wow, I look good" and I must have been sleep-deprived or drunk or stupid when I said that. Most times, I look away in horror, or if someone gives me a picture of myself-- a current picture-- I hide it away, never to be seen again.
I need my mom to take a picture of me. She'll tell me what looks good and what doesn't. "Tilt your chin!" "Tuck in the turkey wattle!" "Stop smiling so big!". Why do you think all of my early pictures look good and the ones I take now are so bad? It's because mom hasn't taken them. God bless that woman and her camera.

LOL I thought your picture looked good! I liked it! Are you saying I have bad taste? I don't make friends with ugly people.
I think we are all our own worst critics. I can't even look at my pictures, I might throw up.
I see nothing to complain about. Not a damn thing.
I think you're both nuts, or need lasik surgery, or wearing beer goggles. You cannot tell me that that picture looks good. I hate pictures. I like to live in my delusional world where I think I look good. I see a picture and my delusion is shattered. Ugh.
