"If you're not part of the solution, then we have a lot in common." -Maxine

I didn't realize our clothes matched until just now. Geez.

There we are. The happy couple! lol

I went to the doctor yesterday (Craig took the day off from work to sit in the waiting room). Our intimacy difficulties & pain are all basically my fault. My fault for being on the same birth control for 20 years and for smoking for the same amount of time. Apparently those are bad things. Who knew? Since I'm stubborn and refuse to stop either one of those things, the doctor put me on a low dose of estrogen. It'll take 2 weeks to see if it makes any difference. I'm sure we'll figure something out in the meantime. LOL.

We survived each other for a full 8 days. We spent all day yesterday together and neither one of us killed the other one (though how would you know - maybe I did off him - he's not here to correct me).  Our new goal is to make it through Thursday night, not annoying each other. Then Friday he gets his kid, Jacob and I have to work the next day (Saturday & Sunday) so we may spend nights away from each other all weekend. He needs to spend time with his kid anyway and it would be good for me not to forget what it's like to be alone. Ya never know what might happen.

There was one thing yesterday that just slightly made me cringe.  Only slightly. While we were walking around the Walmart store, he was pretty much following my lead. Now, I know I'm a control freak but when it comes to my man, I want him to be in control. I want him to be decisive. This one is too kind and nice to be decisive. He just wants me to have whatever I want to have. Like, making a decision where to eat is all up to me. I don't want it to be up to me. I need a decisive man. I'll get him to that point, I swear I will.

It'll be strange to have my bed to myself (along with Elvis, who I'm sure will be extremely pleased to have his position back in place). Though I'm a bit looking forward to it. Ahhhhhh, me time.

I was saying to Craig - I'm surprised none of my friends have had me committed yet for becoming this person - this person who wants to be around people (for a short amount of time), who's seeing someone, who's having sex. I mean, for pity's sake - who have I turned in to - Mae West? Marilyn Monroe? Yep, I'm much more like Marilyn - she had that whole "depressed" thing going on.

It's going to be odd having the day to myself; not that I haven't all last week, but for three days, I worked 2 and spent 1 with Craig. Now I'm alone again for the day and I'm not sure what all to do! I have 3 loads of laundry so I'm working on that. I've made a fresh pot of coffee (thank goodness). I need to clean the house, but that's one of the last things I want to do. It isn't like it's dirty - it just needs freshening up a bit. The bathroom's clean and to me, that's most important. I do have a DVD to watch - The Lone Ranger. I fell asleep yesterday while we were watching it, but I got the gist of it.

So it's an open day - I see a nap in my future for sure. And lots of thoughts about Craig.

God, I'm such a sap.
