“Now they show you how detergents take out bloodstains, a pretty violent image there. I think if you've got a T-shirt with a bloodstain all over it, maybe laundry isn't your biggest problem. Maybe you should get rid of the body before you do the wash.” – Jerry Seinfeld

I had a disturbing dream a few nights ago.  So disturbing, in fact, that I can't forget it. It's unusual, isn't it, to remember a dream so many days later?  Not this one. It's burned into my brain.

I dreamt I was in M'town.  For some reason, the house was under attack.  We were in a gun fight.  All I remember is diving for a doorway, a man (stranger) comes through, shoots me 4 times.  I don't die.  I kill him.  I don't think anybody from "our side" was killed, but I was in some serious pain.  I remember walking around, bleeding, in pain, saying, "I need to go the hospital".  Nobody would take me. "It isn't safe yet". "You're fine."

Fine? Really? I was shot 4 times. I'm pretty sure I was dying. Nobody would take me to the hospital.  Typical. They were probably busy playing Spoons.

I had to find out what the heck the dream was supposed to mean.  From http://www.dreammoods.com/: "To dream that someone is shooting you with a gun, suggests that you are experiencing some confrontation in your waking life. [Yep] You may be feeling victimized in some situation. [Yep, again] To dream that you shoot a person with a gun, denotes your aggressive feelings and hidden anger toward that particular person. If the person you shoot is a stranger, then it indicates that you are rejecting unknown aspects of yourself that you do not understand." Ummmm, yeah.  Huh?

The first part makes sense.  The second part, that I'm rejecting unknown aspects of myself that I don't understand?  I'm pretty sure if they're 'unknown', you're right....I don't understand them.

Someone please explain.
