December 22 – Travel-- How did you travel in 2010? How and/or where would you like to travel next year?(Author: Tara Hunt)

I traveled around in my little robin's egg....My teeny-tiny car.  I haven't flown in years, which I miss tremendously.  I haven't ridden in a bus since I was 16. I've never traveled by train but it looks fun and I think I would enjoy it.  I've traveled by boat before, but not anywhere in the recent past.  I can't fly on my own like Superman.  I have ridden my bike, but not necessarily to get somewhere....just for exercise.  I certainly didn't run in 2010. I did walk but, again, not necessarily to "travel".  Nope, I've just toodled along in my little robin's egg. 

The problem with traveling is that it costs money.  Traveling by car, short distances, is all I can afford to do.  I don't see that changing dramatically in 2011.  Oh, but if I had the means, I would travel to Alaska. I would travel to Europe. I might even travel to a warm, sunny climate just to see if I'd hate it as much as I think I would.  It's o.k. to dream, as long as I don't get my hopes up that the dream will become reality.  The reality is, that's highly unlikely.

Where have you gone this past year? Other than crazy?
